While brainstorming ideas for our team influence paper our group discovered a common interest in skin-to-skin contact and kangaroo care in infants and ultimately agreed upon this topic  for our paper. In the development of the PICOT question the initial one we developed was too broad and produced an overwhelming amount of research. Thus, after discussion with our professor and collaborative brainstorming we formulated a better PICOT question that better defines our topic.  The topic of interest is the comparison of kangaroo care to swaddling for premature infants and the effect on breastfeeding by discharge. It was difficult for our team to grasp the expectations of the PICOT question but with much discussion between team members and our professor we were able to create a PICOT question that encompasses a more centralized and detailed focus for our paper. Through this team influence paper each member has held themselves accountable of the overall group expectations and we have communicated effectively. This cohesiveness has allowed us to work together constructively in order to complete our team influence paper in a timely fashion.
